The Hostel section consists of 6 large and airy dormitories. Each dormitory is looked after by a matron assisted by the Block In-Charge. The dormitories are equipped with good toilet and bathing facilities. The boys sleep on individual beds and have coirfoam mattresses. Each boarder gets one steel almirah for himself which he has to keep clean and tidy at all times. There is a washing machine in each dormitory that is used for washing day-to-day clothing like vests, undergarments, socks etc. Electric irons are provided in each dorm for last minute ironing. Boys learn to iron their own clothes, though only in emergencies, in an effort to inculcate in them a sense of tidiness. Each dormitory has aquaguard water filters cum water-coolers to ensure safe drinking water for the boys at all times.
